Party Time

Last week I had a miserable failure with one of my layouts.  I was so bummed.  So the next layout is my attempt to recreate what I wanted.  This is a photo of my son and daughter having fun at Octoberfest.  I wanted to create a party lo which reflects their love of life and love for each other.   I may have gone a little overboard, I just couldn't help myself.  The White Rabbit represents me, watching my clock till they come home, only this time it's cause I'm the babysitter!!!  I did quite a bit of die cutting, splattering of paint, etc.  I used the January Kit - Karen's Valentine from Scraps of Darkness.  It is just full of all kinds of fun from Bo Bunny's Star Crossed collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  The sun has finally popped its head out today.  Have a wonderful week, and don't forget to take time out to enjoy the special moments!!

Kathy

New Layout

Hello Dear Friends:

I am so excited about sharing a layout that I created of my son, Patrick.  He is studying to be an engineer, so I wanted this lo to be structured.  I had such a blast creating this one.

Patrick's friend Marcus took this photo, and I just love it!

Hope everyone is doing well!  Big Alaska Bear Hugs from me to you!!

I'm Back !!!!!!!!!!

Hello dear friends!  Yes, it's been almost a year since I have posted.  So many things have happened, I guess you would call it life in general.  I took a break from scrapping for awhile so that I could focus on family and work.  I needed to replenish my creative energy and enjoy the world around me.  After having 4 inner ear surgeries in 2 years, I was pretty depleted.  Then in October my mother passed away.  And, I lost one of my sweet dauschunds (sp?), Sarah.  Needless to say, it's been a tough year.

I started scrapping again around August and will be sharing some of my work over the next 2 weeks. I hope that your year was wonderful!  Spring is coming soon, not that we have had much of a winter. It has barely snowed all winter, not a good sign.

Talk with you soon!
Kathy
